For donors, grant makers, and potential investors. some people discover their purpose through years of searching. Mine started with a single sentence. My then-girlfriend tasted a meal I'd cooked and said, "You have to share this with the world." That moment gave me the courage to believe what I made could matter. I didn't go to culinary school. I started as a fry cook, learned every station, and became a sous chef within two years. Over the last decade, I've catered more than 250 events, created unforgettable private dining experiences, launched seven restaurants as a consultant, and built my own culinary company. But success, to me, isn't about numbers. It's about people. It's about that feeling when families gather, when strangers connect over a shared meal.
